Carol Agenorwoth, known professionally as Carol Flower, is a Ugandan singer born in Kitgum. She grew up as the fourth of seven siblings in a musically unstructured environment, unlike many of her peers.
This unconventional background has given her a fresh and authentic singing style rooted in African tradition. Her artistry reflects the cultural authenticity championed by leaders like Senegalese President Leopold Sedar Senghor and Congolese President Mobutu Sese Seko, who promoted African music over colonial influences.
Carol's first professional studio experience came through the ONE LUO project, where she refined her craft under the mentorship of artists like Javan McAjudo. Despite challenges like financial constraints and the lack of a manager, Carol remains determined to pursue her music career with the unwavering support of her parents.
