Born on May 1, 1990, in Mityana, Uganda, Chozen Blood, real name Patrick Musasizi, emerged as a prominent figure in the Ugandan music scene. Growing up as the second-to-last child in a family of 13 devout Catholics, he attended Roadside Mityana Primary School and Mityana Secondary School before pursuing a bachelor's degree in tourism at Makerere University.
Chozen Blood earned his moniker from the choir leader at his childhood church who jokingly remarked, "This boy is Chozen." In response, he adopted the name "Chozen Blood" as an homage to this playful nickname.
One of Chozen Blood's notable collaborations includes the chart-topping track "Pressure ya Love" with Walden, which resonated widely among Ugandans and solidified his position in the music industry. After a brief hiatus, he returned in 2016 and partnered with Sheeba Karungi to produce the hit song "Wadawa," further establishing his reputation as a versatile and talented artist.
