Magezi Christopher Elia, widely recognized as Chris Magezi, is a versatile Ugandan musician hailing from Jinja, born on September 11, 1999, to Misanga Eriya and Milly Namulunde. His early years at Buluba Primary School saw him involved in the church choir and Music, Dance, and Drama (MDD) activities, which laid the foundation for his musical journey.
During his high school years in Seeta-Mukono, Chris Magezi's passion for music grew, leading him to explore singing and musical instruments. This early interest eventually propelled him into the music industry, where he has made a significant impact.
In 2020, Chris Magezi embarked on his music career with the release of his debut single, "Do It." Since then, he has consistently delivered captivating reggae, dancehall, and Afrobeat tracks that have garnered him a dedicated fan base.
Some of his most notable songs include "Papa Daddy," "Binyuma," and the 2023 hit "Lunaku Lwaffe," all of which showcase his remarkable talent and diverse musical style. These songs were mostly produced and mastered at Banaj Records.
