Feffe Bussi Biography

Feffe Bussi, whose real name is Mukiiza Frank, is a Ugandan recording artist, songwriter, freestyle rapper, and award-winning hip-hop artist. He gained fame in the Ugandan music industry by displaying incredible skills in battle and freestyle rap, and is often referred to as "the smallest rapper" because of his thin build.

Born on December 9, 1993, to Nalongo Mary Baganizi and his late father, Feffe Bussi grew up in the Nakulabye-Nabulagala ghettos as the youngest of five siblings. His family faced financial challenges, but his mother's hard work selling charcoal and waragi helped them get by. Feffe Bussi's father supported his passion for hip-hop and emphasized non-violence towards women.

Feffe Bussi attended Nakulabye Junior School for primary education, Cityland College Matugga for O'Level, and Nile High School, Mukono, for A'Level. It was during his time at Nile High School that he discovered his love for music, eventually leading him to a career in the industry.

Despite enrolling at Makerere University briefly, Feffe Bussi spent most of his time in recording studios, nurturing his musical talent. His childhood nickname, "Feffe Bussi," inspired his stage name.

Feffe Bussi's music career began with his debut song "Summertime" in 2013. He gained popularity in 2015 with the release of "Nsekula," featuring Ugandan artist Sheebah Karungi. In 2018, he solidified his position as one of Uganda's top rappers with the release of "Who is Who," aimed at reviving the hip-hop scene in the country.

Feffe Bussi's contributions to Ugandan hip-hop earned him recognition, including awards such as the 2017 Uganda Hip Hop Awards for Central Rapper of the Year and the 2019 Uganda Hip Hop Awards for Male Rapper of the Year.

Apart from his music career, Feffe Bussi is known for his association with controversies, including a dispute with fellow rapper Gravity Omutujju and rumors of funding by Frank Gashumba for his song "Who is Who."

Feffe Bussi's net worth remains undisclosed, but he has secured endorsement deals, including one with Africell Uganda, and owns his record label, Feffe Bussi Music.
