Joshua Baraka Biography

Joshua Baraka is a multi-talented Ugandan singer, songwriter, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his RnB and Afro-pop music.

Born in 2000 in Kazo, Uganda, he grew up in a musically inclined family and was influenced by gospel music and various artists, including Bob Marley and Chronixx.

He started his musical journey by singing in church, learning to play instruments like drums and guitar, and later mastering the piano and production.

In 2020, he began recording his tracks and released his debut EP, "Baby Steps," in 2021, which marked his introduction to the music industry.

Joshua Baraka has since released multiple albums and singles, with his 2023 hit track "Nana" gaining immense popularity, reaching the top of Apple Music and Audiomack charts in Uganda and becoming the most Shazamed song in the country.

Joshua's musical style is characterized by feel-good and live music, and his work spans various themes, from romance to self-acceptance.

He has a diverse musical background, incorporating a wide range of rhythms and melodies into his songs.
