Juliana Kanyomozi Biography

Juliana Kanyomozi is a highly acclaimed Ugandan musician, actress, and entertainer. Born on November 27, 1980, in Toro Fort Portal, Western Uganda, she is known for her remarkable talent and contributions to the music industry. Juliana is regarded as one of the most prominent artists in Western Uganda, alongside musicians like Angella Katatumba, Allan Toniks, and Ray G.

Coming from a musical background, Juliana is the daughter of a drummer and the granddaughter of a vocalist. She attended City Primary School (currently Arya Primary School) for her primary education, Bugema Secondary School for O-Level, and Namasagali College in Kamuli District for her high school education.

Juliana's career highlights are numerous and impressive. She made history as the first female musician to win the prestigious Pearl of Africa Music Awards' "Artist of the Year" accolade. In 2008, she ventured into acting, making her film debut in Henry Ssali's "Kiwani: The Movie." She has also collaborated with renowned Nigerian entertainer Flavour and signed with international cosmetics company Oriflame as one of their East African brand ambassadors.
