Sadat Mukibi, born on March 3, 1990, spent his formative years in the Kampala suburb of Kabowa, raised by his single mother. Kalifah successfully completed his O and A Level education at Kawanda Secondary School.
Notably bearing a striking resemblance to the renowned American artist Wiz Khalifa, Kalifah AgaNaga has taken inspiration from Wiz Kid's style as he navigates the music scene. Following the completion of his high school education, he faced the pivotal choice of either sinking or swimming in the competitive industry.
In 2012, displaying remarkable determination, Kalifah AgaNaga redirected his tuition fees (approximately $400), initially intended for academic pursuits, towards recording his debut single, "Mina Konda," and producing its accompanying video. Undeterred by the challenges, he diligently promoted the track on radio and television, a journey that led him to cross paths with Emma Carlos, a renowned Talent Manager with TWINKLE Star Agency.
Under the guidance of Emma Carlos and TWINKLE Star Agency, Kalifah AgaNaga inked a deal that marked a significant turning point in his career. This collaboration catapulted him into the music industry spotlight, resulting in a platinum album that featured three chart-topping singles: "Mina Konda," "Ndabirwah," and "Ekitangaaza." His breakthrough shattered the prevalent 'upcoming jinx' in the region, challenging the notion that artists must have a single hit to establish themselves in the industry.
The album seamlessly blends AfroBeat, Zouk, and Dancehall genres and showcases collaborative efforts, including "Kizibu" with Mun G, a prominent Luga Flow artist, a track with Esther Corado, formerly of Wafagio and renowned as Gunsimbye, and "Melody" featuring TIP Swizzy.
