At just nine years old, while attending Nsanji Primary School, Lanah Sophie began singing, and it quickly became evident that she possessed a remarkable voice. Her exceptional vocal abilities led to her being chosen as the soloist for various school choir performances, particularly in folk songs.

Following her completion of A-levels, Lanah Sophie initially embarked on a nursing course. However, her passion for music proved to be insurmountable. Driven by her unwavering dedication to her craft, she decided to pursue formal musical training. She enrolled at the prestigious Kampala Music School to study voice, honing her skills and refining her unique style.
