Lydia Ugochi, a multifaceted artist and vocalist of Mugisu descent from Mbale was raised by Nigerians who bestowed her with the name Ugochi, signifying God's Pride. Lydia's musical journey commenced during her formative years, as she passionately sang in the church choir, honing her vocal and musical skills.

A proud alumna of Makerere University, Lydia Ugochi holds a degree in Education with a focus on Literature. Her academic pursuits complement her artistic endeavors, contributing to the depth and richness of her creative expression.

The trajectory of Lydia's musical career took a significant turn when she caught the attention of Jackpower, a prominent brand in the industry. Recognizing her talent, Jackpower facilitated her introduction to various artists in the Western music scene, commencing with the collaboration with Goodhope.
