Biography

Martha Smallz, born Namubiru Martha, is a Ugandan artist from East Africa. She forms one-half of the music duo Airportaxi alongside Tucker HD. Her sound fuses R&B and reggae, infused with a forward-thinking edge, though she’s unafraid to venture into other styles like dancehall. Martha’s EP, "Melanin", is currently streaming on SoundCloud, and she recently dropped “Typa Guy,” the lead single from her forthcoming, yet-untitled debut album. The track’s remix features Maurice Kirya, the King of Mwooyo. Beyond music, Martha collaborates with Reach A Hand Uganda (RAHU) as a cultural figure, contributing to initiatives like the 2017 Annual Youth Camp #GetUpSpeakOut and the RAHU Music Project.
