Biography

Mesach Semakula, born in 1967, is a multi-talented individual who has made a significant impact in the field of music and business. Known for his Afro Pop music, Mesach is also recognized as a devout believer in God, which has influenced both his personal and professional life.

Born and raised in Uganda, Mesach developed a passion for music at a young age. At the age of 16, while attending Kampala Secondary School, he realized that he wanted to pursue a career in music. Mesach's determination led him to join the Emitone band, which was led by the late Umaru Katumba, a respected figure in the music industry.

However, Mesach faced a setback when he was asked to leave the band due to his young age. Rather than letting this discourage him, he chose to focus on his studies until he turned 18 years old. Mesach's resilience and dedication to his craft would eventually lead him to great success.

In addition to his musical aspirations, Mesach is also an astute businessman with various investments in Uganda. One notable venture is Kann Records Studio, which he owns and is managed by Travis Kazibwe, also known as Dr Tee, a well-known Ugandan gospel musician. This studio has become a hub for aspiring artists and has contributed to the growth of the music industry in Uganda.

Despite his accomplishments in business, Mesach's true passion lies in music. His songs are a reflection of his faith, love, and life experiences, resonating with audiences across Uganda and beyond. Mesach's music combines catchy melodies, meaningful lyrics, and his unique vocal style, making him a beloved figure in the Afro Pop genre.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mesach's personal life is equally noteworthy. In 2011, after two years of careful planning, he married his fiancé in a romantic and intimate ceremony held on February 14th. The event left a lasting impression on guests, who described it as one of the most beautiful weddings they had ever attended.
