Gabriella Bridget Ntaate, known professionally as Gabie Ntaate, or just Ntaate, was born on the 14th of April in 1992, in city of Kampala, Uganda. Her life's journey is a testament to her indomitable spirit, overcoming adversity, and achieving greatness against all odds.
Early Life and Family:
Gabie Ntaate entered this world as the second of seven siblings, born into a tight-knit family. Sadly, she faced the tragedy of losing her parents at a tender age, a circumstance that would shape her resilience and drive for success. Raised in the Kireka neighborhood of Kampala, she found solace and support in the loving care of her uncle.
A Journey of Faith:
With a deep-rooted faith in the Seventh Day Adventist religion, Gabie's spiritual foundation provided her with a compass for navigating life's challenges. She embraced the teachings of her faith, which instilled in her a sense of purpose and moral values that would guide her throughout her life.
Educational Pursuits:
Kireka served as the backdrop for Gabie Ntaate's educational journey, where she embarked on her quest for knowledge. She started her academic voyage at Shimoni Primary School, where she successfully completed her Primary Leaving Examinations. Her thirst for knowledge led her to St. Lawrence Secondary School, where she earned her Uganda Certificate of Education. She continued her academic pursuits at St. Noah's Zana, where she received her Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education.
Her academic journey reached its zenith at Makerere University, where she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Library and Information Science. But Gabie's thirst for learning didn't end there; she also ventured into the world of fashion, completing a short course in Fashion Designing at Tina University.
A Rising Star in the Entertainment World:
Beyond her academic accomplishments, Gabie Ntaate found herself drawn to the world of entertainment. In 2014, she made her debut in the acting world, taking on the role of a nurse named Fatima in the popular TV series "Second Chance." This marked the beginning of her journey as a multifaceted artist.
She continued to shine in the entertainment industry, securing another significant role in "Burn it up." Both of these shows aired on Nation Media's flagship channel, NTV Uganda, captivating audiences with her talent and charisma.
In September 2018, Gabie made a significant leap in her career when she joined Spark TV, a subsidiary of Nation Media Uganda. She stepped into the shoes of a co-host, filling the void left by the popular duo of Zahara Totto and Anna Talia Oze, showcasing her versatility and adaptability.
A Voice in Music:
In addition to her accomplishments in acting and television hosting, Gabie Ntaate is also an accomplished gospel recording artist and singer-songwriter. Her melodious voice and heartfelt lyrics have touched the hearts of many, making her a respected figure in the Ugandan music scene.
