Shamim Murerwa, professionally known as Omega 256 (sometimes stylized as "Queen of the West"), is a talented Ugandan singer, performer, and songwriter signed under Diagram Evolution.

With a passion for music, Omega 256 embarked on her artistic journey at the age of 17, immersing herself in the recording studio. In 2018, she achieved a significant breakthrough with her debut single "Ninterwa." The success of this track paved the way for a string of captivating releases, including "Weekend," "This Year," "Keeza," "Deep in Love," and more.

Omega 256's immense talent and hard work have earned her numerous accolades. In 2019, she received prestigious awards such as Western Artiste of the Year, Western Song of the Year, and Dancehall Song of the Year.
