Biography

Kataswa Fred, known as Saint Fred UG, is a rising Ugandan musician and performer, born on March 30, 2001, in Buyende, Uganda. Showing an early passion for music and fluency in Lusoga, Luganda, and English, Saint Fred completed his primary education at Kiira Primary School in 2019 and is currently pursuing his O’ level Education Certificate at Mpumudde Seed Secondary School.

Entering the music scene in 2022 under Awa Talent Management, Saint Fred gained recognition with hits like "Nendha Obe Awo" and "Kalaala" in 2022 and 2023, respectively. His enchanting vocals and captivating performances have endeared him to both rural and urban audiences in Eastern Uganda. Saint Fred's unique, soft-toned voice sets him apart, resonating with listeners across Busoga, Uganda, and beyond.

Having participated in Nvilla Kukitone Season 1 in 2022, Saint Fred's musical journey is marked by collaborations with various Ugandan artists. Under the management of Awa Talent Management, he aims to continue producing an impressive array of RNB, zouk, Band, and Urban songs, contributing to the vibrant music scene of Eastern Uganda and beyond.
