Edrisah Kenzo Musuuza, widely known by his stage name Eddy Kenzo, is an acclaimed Ugandan singer, music executive, and philanthropist. Born in Masaka, Uganda, his life took a remarkable turn when he achieved international recognition after the release of his sensational 2014 single, "Sitya Loss," along with a viral video featuring the talented Ghetto Kids. His musical journey has been marked by numerous accolades, including a BET Award in 2015, a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award in 2018, and multiple All Africa Music Awards.
Eddy Kenzo's musical career began in 2008 when he released his first song, "Yannimba," alongside Mikie Wine. Over the years, he continued to make his mark in the music industry, establishing his own record label, Big Talent Entertainment, and releasing four successful albums, including "Roots" in 2018 and "Made in Africa" in 2021. While his professional life has been filled with milestones and triumphs, Eddy Kenzo's personal life has also garnered public interest. He was in a romantic relationship with Ugandan recording artist Rema Namakula, and together, they welcomed their daughter Amaal Musuuza. Although their relationship eventually ended, Eddy Kenzo has been dedicated to both his daughters and continues to be an influential figure in their lives.
