The anticipation for the upcoming 2023 Africa Muzik and Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA) is reaching a crescendo as the highly-anticipated nominees' list has been officially unveiled by the organizers. The list, released on AFRIMMA's official website on Thursday, showcases an array of African musical talent spanning various genres and regions.

Topping the nominations chart is Nigerian afrobeat sensation, Davido, who secured an impressive six nominations across diverse categories. Among his nods are the coveted Song of the Year, Artiste of the Year, and Album of the Year awards. Following closely are fellow Nigerian artists Rema and Burna Boy, each securing three nominations. • Best Male North Africa: Egyptian artists like Marwan Moussa and Wegz are part of the North African lineup.
