Socialite Martha Kemigisha Kagimba, popularly known as Martha Kay, has successfully completed a photography course in Kenya. After a hiatus from her photography career, Martha Kay made the decision to enhance her skills and has recently been awarded a certificate in photography.
Last month, Martha Kay publicly expressed her deep passion for photography, hinting at her plans to rekindle her career in the field after taking a break for several years. The versatile artist, who is also an actress, photographer, radio host, and content creator, took the bold step to refine her photography skills by enrolling in a short course in Kenya, where she has been residing for the past few months.
Martha Kay joined the August intake at Njeri Photography, a renowned institution for photography education. This move saw her alongside numerous other aspiring photographers eager to obtain a certification in photography.
Throughout the one-month duration of the course, participants delved into various aspects of photography, covering topics such as retouching, lighting techniques, camera and equipment handling, as well as the business aspects of the photography industry. The rigorous curriculum demanded dedication and hard work from all attendees.
The course schedule was set for two hours on each working day, and students had to invest a substantial sum of Ksh 50,000 (equivalent to approximately Ugx 1.2 million) for the comprehensive training program.
Upon successfully completing her coursework, Martha Kay was presented with a participation certificate.
